How long should I stay?
Two nights is a good minimum to enjoy the forest without rushing. Keen birders often stay three to five nights to find the trickier species, as forest birding rewards repeated visits.
Sample 2-night itinerary
- Day 1: Arrive, settle in, afternoon nature walk, and a night walk after dinner.
- Day 2: Sunrise on Lirhanda Hill, morning birding, rest, then a primate & butterfly walk.
- Day 3: Final dawn birding session before departure.
Sample 4-night birding itinerary
Combine daily dawn birding with a river and waterfall hike, a cultural visit to the Crying Stone of Ilesi, and focused searches for your remaining targets.
